In the Sea - VR Game Scene
A single player VR game in which the gamer experiences a life of survival on abandoned islands. The player’s goal is to collect various items, solve challenging puzzles and learn important survival tips while discovering the mysteries of a tropical wilderness.
User Flow
Following a shipwreck at sea, the player wakes up alone on an island in a remote archipelago. The island offers beautiful vistas and pristine beaches, but the discovery of mysterious skeletons suggests it is dangerous and uninhabitable.
The player must visit other islands nearby, collect certain items along the way and solve survival tasks of varied difficulty. For example, the second island provides water, but it is poisonous. The player must find ways to purify the water using the items collected.
There are hazards in the sea and the island shorelines: The player has to avoid sharks, kill deadly spiders and avoid eating poisonous plants or drinking poisonous water.
Threats to a player’s health will increase or decrease the player’s temperature. The player must maintain a stable body temperature by eating food such as fish and edible plants, warming up next to the fire made of gathered wood and sheltering in the cave.
Every few hours a fishing ship and a plane pass by the islands. The player’s final mission is to get the pilot’s attention by making a fire on the top of a rocky mountain in order to be rescued by the ship.
